Drover Told through Our Domain Names

In addition to our primary domain name: www.droverrideshare.com, Drover Rideshare has several forwarding domains that we have acquired. We feel that our portfolio of domains expresses the unique culture here at Drover Rideshare, as well as communities and networks we are passionate about and anticipate serving. Here are some of our favorite forwarding domains and what they mean to us.

1) charityrideshare.com

As explained on our [Vision] page and a [previous blog post], Drover Rideshare fares directly support non-profits in the communities and states we operate in. Drover will donate 2% of every single ride fare (24/7) to Tennessee-based charities chosen by the Drover (driver) every month. A list of 20 local and Tennessee based charities will be sent out every month for the driver to choose from. Plus, the 2% will come from Drover's 20% split of every fare -- so all drivers will still get a full 80% split of fares. Consider it like a 80/18/2 split, where drivers get 80%, Drover gets 18%, and charities get 2%.

We want to have our eyes open and our arms outstretched towards the communities that support our operations.

2) humanityrides.com

Our ultimate goal is for each Drover ride to be an uplifting experience for our drivers and riders. We believe that by promoting a kind, mutually respectful environment in each ride, our drivers and riders will be able to benefit from meeting each other. Think of the stories each person has to share! We get little car-shaped goosebumps every time we think about it. In this way, Drover is all about humanity -- we are a company that advocates benevolence, compassion, and outreach to the fullest extent.

3) militaryrides.vet

Drover Founder Jeffrey Garland served in the Navy for 10 years; Drover Rideshare supports America's military veterans. We have the utmost respect for the men and women who have served our country and protected it's freedom. Once Drover is fully operational, we hope to support veterans associations through our charitable ride fare donations.

4) nosurge.club

We have seen the horror stories of the users of other rideshare apps being charged fares in the hundreds (see this article) because of surge pricing!

We don't know about you, but we get a little anxious every time we see the little surge-lightning bolt on other rideshare apps! Ridesharing shouldn't feel like that... Drover is about Good Green Fun! We are committed to doing what it takes to ensure no surge pricing for riders... no surge, no surprises.

5) drover.ninja

Because Ninjas are awesome.

6) droverdoorway.com

We believe that Drover opens doorways for people.

First, consider the doorways opened to our Drovers (drivers). Each of our Drovers will have the opportunity to work the hours they choose to, and meet some pretty amazing people in the process. We anticipate our Drovers will be moved while moving people -- hearing the stories and lives of their riders will undoubtedly have a positive impact on our drivers. Additionally, we hope to be able to offer our Drovers discounted leasing options on electric vehicles. This means that driving for Drover could mean affordable access to electric vehicles with cheaper upkeep costs (gasoline vs electric energy) and a smaller carbon footprint (zero emissions).

Second, consider the doorways opened to our riders. We anticipate launching in several cities currently under-served or just plain un-served by other rideshare companies. In this way, we will allow more cities to have the incredible convenience of ridesharing. This will lead to avoided DUIs in these cities -- as people will have the incentive to just take a Drover home instead of potentially getting behind the wheel under the influence of alcohol. We are excited to see the positive impact that Drover will have in the communities it will serve.

Finally, consider the doorways opened to the members of our development team. Speaking for myself, I can attest to how much fun I have had working on developing Drover from the ground up over the past months. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to work alongside and meet incredible peers. I cannot wait to see what other opportunities will be available to us moving forward, as well as meet the other incredible people we add to our team.
